At OGC we believe it is important to be a good steward of the resources God and others entrust to us. In the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25), the master gives 3 servants certain talents to use on his behalf. When he returns he demands an accounting for how they use those talents and those who have done well he blesses saying: “Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.” Matthew 25:21 It is our goal that Christ welcomes uswith such joy! The stewardship team manages OGC’s physical and financial resources. We seek to maintain our beautiful 1904 facility. And the stewardship team manages the church’s finances at the direction of the church leadership. We work hard to ensure that those finances which people entrust to OGC are used wisely and carefully.
