Pastor Josh often refers to OGC as a family. We are not a country club we are a hospital for sinners. A healthy family is a safe, loving and nurturing environment – a place to heal and a place to be lovingly challenged. At OGC the Fellowship team strives to help newer members to the church family plug in and find their niche. It is our goal that we move beyond casual acquaintances and develop strong lasting friendships in Christ. We do this through a variety of ways like Backyard Barbeques, game nights, and other events.

In an era when neighborhoods and communities are losing their small-town feel, we are intentionally working to restore the old “small-town feel”. We visit those people who move to Evansville and welcome them to our town with a smile and a bag of goodies & information about our town. Little by little we hope to strengthen our neighborhoods and develop a place where people genuinely care about one another and are involved in each others’ lives. It is our dream that as we Love the Lord with all our heart, mind, soul and strength and Love our neighbor as ourselves that Evansville will be dramatically transformed. That Evansville will become a place where suicide, loneliness, abuse and divorce will become a thing of the past.
