Ministries
Oak Grove Church is a thriving family of believers and is much more than a friendly place to visit on Sunday mornings. Visit our ministries pages to learn more about how Oak Grove Church can serve your specific needs. If you would like to volunteer to be in one of these ministries, please contact the committee leader to learn how.
Awana, led by John and Jenny Baierl
With weekly club meetings held during the school year, Awana brings children and youth into healthy relationships with mentors and peers who will influence them for Christ.
Our prayer is that all children and youth throughout the world will come to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our exclusive circle games and fun approach to children’s ministry generate maximum excitement at every meeting.
Worship, led by Judy Winker
At Oak Grove Church, worship is not just singing – nor is it a three-song warm-up for the sermon. Worship doesn’t only happen when believers gather for Sunday services, nor is it an event – it’s a lifestyle! When we define worship as giving God our time, attention and affection, there isn’t any area of life that’s not involved.
Youth, led by Dave Rossmiller
All Middle School and High School Students are invited to join F.O.T.U. “Fellowship of the Unashamed”
Missions, led by Greg Lancaster
The Oak Grove Church family supports local and global missions through prayer, finances, and volunteer time where needed.
Fellowship, led by Mike George
A healthy family is a safe, loving and nurturing environment – a place to heal and a place to be lovingly challenged. At OGC the Fellowship team strives to help newer members to the church family plug in and find their niche. It is our goal that we move beyond casual acquaintances and develop strong lasting friendships in Christ.
Stewardship, led by Dave Winker
The stewardship team manages OGC’s physical and financial resources. We seek to maintain our beautiful 1904 facility. And the stewardship team manages the church’s finances at the direction of the church leadership.
Women’s Ministry, led by Ali Brumbaugh
The Bethany’s Balm Women’s Ministry at Oak Grove Church desires to provide a safe resting place, a “Bethany”, for women in and outside of the church. We do this through Bible study, fellowship, fun and ministry. Our desire is to care for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of women.
Christian Education, led by Mary Christensen
The Christian Education committee supports Sunday school classes for all ages, children’s church, midweek Bible studies, and special activities like children’s outreach, Vacation Bible School, and an annual children’s Christmas Pageant.
